Responsibilities

- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Develop regulatory compliance strategies for emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, US Algorithmic Accountability Act)
- Lead stakeholder engagements across government, academia, and industry on AI ethics standards
- Proactively identify emerging ethical risks in generative AI and predictive analytics technologies
- Create transparency reports and explainability protocols for high-stakes AI decision systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible AI implementation
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Experience developing organizational AI ethics policies and training programs
- Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals
- Certification in AI Ethics or Responsible AI (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
