Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and compliance protocols
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for AI models and datasets
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development pipelines
- Prepare regulatory documentation and reports for compliance with emerging AI governance standards
- Train cross-functional teams on ethical AI principles and responsible AI usage
- Monitor industry trends in AI ethics legislation and update organizational policies accordingly
- Lead stakeholder engagement on AI ethics initiatives and transparency measures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in compliance, ethics, or AI governance roles
- Expertise in AI ethics frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Strong understanding of machine learning model development and deployment
- Certification in data privacy (CIPP, CIPM) or AI ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics Certificate)
- Experience developing bias mitigation techniques for AI systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published work on AI ethics or governance preferred
