Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps anticipating 2026 market shifts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum and AI applications
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations in post-2025 tech
- Advocate ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems
- Partner with VCs to identify and acquire pre-2026 startup talent
- Present futurist insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Published research in IEEE/ACM on future tech trends (post-2025)
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or spatial computing
- Track record of launching at least two disruptive tech products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Experience scaling global tech teams across 3+ continents
