Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ with clear milestones and KPIs
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) for market disruption potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech startups
- Present futuristic visions to executive leadership and investors
- Conduct scenario planning for technological black swan events
- Author thought leadership publications on next-gen technology impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience with patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development
