Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of future tech trends
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present future-vision frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Lead ethics and governance frameworks for next-gen AI/automation systems
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing architectures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or emerging technologies
- Proven track record in developing future technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in futuristic technology domains
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
