Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum-resistant systems and AI ethics frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop patent-pending solutions for climate-positive tech infrastructure
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in exponential thinking methodologies
- Forge partnerships with academic labs and government innovation hubs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging tech R&D with 3+ years in strategic foresight roles
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI safety, climate tech
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >$10M market impact
- Fluency in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
