Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technology trends across quantum computing, bio-AI convergence, and decentralized networks to inform 2026 strategy
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps with 18-24 month horizons aligned with market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping emerging technologies with commercial viability assessments
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members through data-driven scenario planning
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups specializing in pre-commercial technologies
- Author thought leadership reports on the societal impact of 2026 technological shifts
- Mentor innovation teams in foresight methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with proven 2020+ trend forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Executive-level experience translating technological foresight into actionable business strategy
- Published author or speaker at global forums on future technology (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Futures Studies, or equivalent
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, horizon scanning, and scenario modeling
- Track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
