Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026+ implications
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and prioritize R&D investments
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into customer solutions
- Present trend analysis and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption impact and competitive positioning
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global tech ecosystem analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends and translating them into actionable strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and risk modeling for long-term technological shifts
