Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Drive R&D initiatives for next-gen products and services targeting 2026 market needs
- Establish strategic partnerships with tech pioneers and academic institutions
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate disruptive trends and competitive threats
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and build high-performing future-focused teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching successful future-oriented products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT, biotech)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Experience with innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Blue Ocean)
- Certification in technology forecasting or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, MIT)
- Portfolio of 2025+ innovation initiatives with measurable impact
