Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic vision for 2026 technology roadmap
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends in biotech, space exploration, and decentralized systems
- Partner with C-suite to align organizational strategy with future market disruptions
- Author thought leadership reports published in Nature and MIT Technology Review
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through federal and private sector partnerships
- Mentor next-gen futurists through our Future Leaders Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on exponential technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend impact analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (3+ case studies)
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, neurotech, and climate tech ecosystems
- Ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Experience securing government grants for forward-looking research
