Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to forecast opportunities and risks for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and business strategies
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings with data-driven trend projections
- Partner with innovation teams to incubate ventures targeting 2026 market gaps
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting long-term positioning
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against strategic foresight milestones
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial strategies (portfolio of preferred)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS, APF) strongly preferred
- Experience in high-growth tech or Fortune 500 environment
