Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum-AI research roadmap targeting 2026 breakthrough milestones
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Establish ethical AI governance frameworks ensuring responsible deployment
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum computing infrastructure projects
- Present findings at Davos, TED, and IEEE Quantum Computing symposiums
- Secure $10M+ in government and private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in emerging quantum-AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years leading quantum-AI research teams with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with ethical AI alignment and bias mitigation techniques
- Published work in Nature/Science quantum computing special issues
- Security clearance for classified quantum research initiatives
