Responsibilities
- Design and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for post-quantum cybersecurity frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI-driven climate modeling systems
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budgets through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
- Patent 3+ novel technologies annually in quantum encryption or biocomputing
- Mentor PhD researchers in emerging fields like neuromorphic engineering
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Partner with NASA and DOE on next-gen space exploration technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ patents in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Track record of securing $5M+ in government research grants
- Published in Nature or Science in the last 5 years
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Deep understanding of ISO 27001 and NIST quantum security frameworks
