Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives across AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Research and analyze emerging tech trends, patent landscapes, and competitive intelligence
- Develop and present futuristic technology scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Architect proof-of-concept projects for next-gen innovations (quantum AI, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate futuristic concepts into actionable development plans
- Build and lead cross-functional innovation pods with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Mentor junior strategists in future-casting methodologies and tech foresight
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, neurotech)
- Published research or patents in futuristic technology or strategic foresight
- Experience with scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-suite and investor audiences
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical implications of emerging innovations
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of futuristic technology strategies
