Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Scans' identifying disruptive technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future market shifts
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Create predictive models for technology adoption curves and regulatory landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board and investor committees
- Oversee the Future Intelligence Lab - our proprietary trend forecasting engine
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications and academic journals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting and capitalizing on emerging tech trends
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards and government bodies
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from AC/FS) preferred
