Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Innovation Horizon Roadmap, integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI autonomy breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Sprints' to prototype solutions for climate resilience, neural interfaces, and space economy challenges
- Establish strategic partnerships with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, and sovereign innovation funds
- Author the annual 'State of 2026' report for Fortune 500 board members and policy influencers
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Manage $5M annual futures research budget with VC-style portfolio allocation
- Mentor the next generation of futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures studies journals (e.g., Foresight, Technological Forecasting)
- Expertise in exponential technologies: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, and decentralized governance
- Proven track record of C-level advisory experience with S&P 500 companies
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Complexity Theory, or Systems Engineering
- Security clearance eligibility for national innovation initiatives
