Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks to map technological, economic, and societal shifts through 2026
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify high-impact opportunities and disruptors across global markets
- Produce comprehensive trend reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate next-generation products and services targeting 2026 market readiness
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry publications
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory landscapes to anticipate policy impacts on business strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced future-casting methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or executive planning roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating future insights into market-disruptive initiatives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for complex concepts
- Strong network within futurist communities and innovation think tanks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) highly desirable
