Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech) to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and business models
- Monitor emerging technologies and disruptors through real-time intelligence networks
- Produce high-impact visualizations and narratives communicating future scenarios to stakeholders
- Identify new market opportunities and competitive threats in rapidly evolving sectors
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling ability
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
