Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (2026-2035) to identify disruptive trends across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making and R&D prioritization
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with stakeholders to stress-test business resilience
- Produce trend briefings and innovation roadmaps for board-level presentations
- Partner with product teams to incubate next-gen initiatives aligned with future market demands
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conference keynotes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record in translating foresight into commercial innovation (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI/ML, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking modeling skills (STELLA, AnyLogic, or equivalent)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Shell Two-Scenarios)
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and strategic foresight deliverables
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
