Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying emerging trends in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and space commercialization
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' task forces to prototype breakthrough solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Establish industry-first frameworks for quantum-AI hybrid systems and decentralized autonomous organizations
- Secure $10M+ in innovation grants through partnerships with DARPA and NSF for frontier technologies
- Author the annual 'Horizon Report' predicting paradigm shifts in human-machine symbiosis by 2030
- Chair the Global Ethics Council on AI consciousness and post-human rights
- Represent the company at Davos, TED, and UN Technology Summits as a 2026 thought leader
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 8+ years in strategic technology forecasting
- Proven track record of commercializing at least two emerging technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, or neurotech)
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals on technological singularity or exponential innovation
- Expertise in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell's Two Loops) with 5+ Fortune 500 implementations
- Deep understanding of ISO 20700 foresight standards and UN SDGs alignment
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or Julia) for trend modeling
- Certification in AI governance frameworks (e.g., IEEE 7000) and bioethics (e.g., ELSI)
