As a key member of our Strategic Futures division, you will collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global partners to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, sustainable tech, and human augmentation. Your insights will directly influence product development, market expansion, and long-term corporate strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Tech Horizon Reports for executive stakeholders
- Design innovation frameworks for quantum computing integration and AI ethics
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on future-proofing business models
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in augmented reality and bioengineering
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented initiatives
