Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish industry partnerships for technology adoption and co-development
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and tech assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation leadership
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: AI/ML, Web3, biotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technology products
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies
