Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market trends through 2026
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps with 5-7 year strategic projections
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable product development plans
- Deliver executive briefings on future scenarios and strategic implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Champion future-focused thinking across all organizational functions
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes, reports) positioning the company as a 2026 pioneer
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term innovation strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in future trends or innovation strategy
