Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and investors
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation consulting, R&D leadership, or strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with documented impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Experience facilitating executive-level strategic planning sessions
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficiency in trend-mapping tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner Hype Cycle)
