Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term strategic objectives
- Conduct scenario-planning workshops to prepare for disruptive futures
- Partner with engineering teams to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product features
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynote speeches) positioning Nexus Horizons as a future authority
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks using predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field preferred
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis) and trend-mapping methodologies
