Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 innovation roadmaps across AI, biotech, and quantum domains
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech consortia
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future societal-technology interfaces
- Oversee cross-functional R&D projects translating futuristic concepts into MVP prototypes
- Advise C-suite on long-term technology investments and risk mitigation strategies
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists using foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MSc preferred) with published futurism research
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, WFS) or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable outcomes
