Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with company's 10-year vision
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
- Direct cross-functional innovation pods (AI/ML, Quantum Computing, Synthetic Biology)
- Present foresight frameworks to the board and executive leadership team
- Drive patent development for breakthrough technologies targeting 2026 commercialization
- Oversee the Innovation Incubator program, mentoring 50+ future-ready innovators
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching products/services achieving $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in emerging tech: AGI, quantum computing, climate tech, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Strategic Innovation, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Sloan
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Portfolio of 3+ innovations reaching market maturity
