Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 Innovation Roadmap, aligning emerging technologies with market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototypes for next-gen AI interfaces and quantum applications
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on future tech implications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for 2026 ecosystem development
- Oversee incubation of 10+ experimental projects annually
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation, R&D, or futurism with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Published thought leadership on emerging technology trends
- Experience scaling technical teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized future-focused products
- Active security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
