Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech fusion, AR/VR 3.0)
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams across 3 international innovation centers
- Secure $20M+ in federal grants for future-tech initiatives
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement 2026-readiness frameworks
- Author quarterly white papers published in Nature Technology Review
- Mentor junior researchers through our Future Tech Fellowship Program
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in emerging tech R&D with 3+ years in strategy roles
- Published research in top-tier journals (IEEE, ACM, Nature)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuro-symbolic AI, or decentralized tech
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from prototype to market
- Active patent portfolio (minimum 5 granted patents)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for international collaboration
