Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations effectively
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Mentor junior staff and uphold facility safety protocols
- Participate in weekend shift huddles and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida (or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Strong weekend shift availability with no weekday commitments
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
