Responsibilities
- Oversee all weekend shift operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ healthcare professionals, including nurses and support staff
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and emergency response procedures
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives for weekend patient care
- Handle staffing, scheduling, and performance management for weekend personnel
- Collaborate with department heads to maintain seamless 24/7 operations
- Prepare detailed weekend shift reports and address escalated patient concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Nursing (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years healthcare management experience with weekend shift leadership
- Active California nursing license or relevant healthcare certification
- Proven expertise in staffing, scheduling, and team development
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, JCAHO, and California healthcare regulations
- Exceptional crisis management and decision-making abilities
- Advanced proficiency in EHR systems and healthcare analytics
- CPR/BLS certification with willingness to maintain
