Responsibilities
- Analyze blood, tissue, and fluid specimens using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Perform quality control procedures and maintain accurate laboratory documentation
- Collaborate with physicians to provide timely test results for critical cases
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and CAP regulations
- Train and mentor junior technicians on weekend protocols
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for emergency testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- ASCP or AMT certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical laboratory experience
- Strong knowledge of hematology, chemistry, and microbiology
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure weekend environments
- Valid Ohio state license
