Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans and treatment schedules across departments
- Act as primary liaison between patients, families, and medical staff
- Manage electronic health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Facilitate discharge planning and post-care follow-ups
- Train new staff on department protocols and patient care standards
- Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure seamless billing processes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 3+ years of healthcare coordination experience
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
- Arizona state healthcare license required
