Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress in EHR systems
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Deliver patient education on health management and preventive care
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Weekend availability (must work both Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
