Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety standards and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff to maximize productivity and morale.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies with accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all forklifts and material handling equipment are inspected and maintained properly.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to optimize operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train others effectively.
- Reliability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime during peak seasons.
