Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners to move inventory.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately fulfill customer orders by selecting items and preparing them for shipment.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Manage inbound and outbound freight, ensuring proper documentation and weight distribution.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections on equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
