Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and patient history documentation
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Process laboratory specimens and perform basic lab tests
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule patient appointments and handle correspondence
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication skills and compassionate patient demeanor
