Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision and safety
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor new nursing staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience (ICU/ER preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP a plus)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency - Epic experience preferred
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
