Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of network systems, servers, and workstations during night operations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for internal clients.
- Respond to and prioritize incoming help desk tickets with a focus on rapid resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Document all technical interventions, resolutions, and system changes in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand off unresolved issues and ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
- Perform routine system backups and security audits to ensure data protection.
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior engineering teams when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Experience working in a Night Shift environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
