Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vitals, injections, and wound dressing during overnight hours
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and triage during overnight emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment for next-day operations
- Collaborate with night shift nursing team for seamless patient handoffs
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
