Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately
- Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations
- Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
- Collaborate with healthcare team during shift transitions
- Complete thorough incident and progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA, MA, or EMT certification preferred (not mandatory)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per shift
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Georgia driver's license (if transporting patients)
- Background check and drug screen required
