Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse facility.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper organization of inventory.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items meet quality control standards before shipping.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor preferred.
- License: Valid Forklift Certification is highly preferred but not strictly required for entry-level consideration.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable transportation method to commute to the Miami facility.
- Background: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening as part of the direct hire process.
- Communication: Basic English skills required for reading safety documents and communicating with supervisors.
