Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload freight trucks and trailers using proper equipment.
- Inventory Management: Organize, stock, and retrieve inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery as required.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery with precision.
- Reporting: Assist in documenting inventory discrepancies or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
