Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for employees with a focus on immediate resolution.
- Manage and maintain ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) to ensure timely response and follow-up on technical requests.
- Perform system backups and security patching to maintain data integrity and system stability.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to a diverse range of internal users.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Help Desk or Technical Support roles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations during peak periods.
