Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system errors to ensure minimal downtime for the organization.
- Manage and maintain IT inventory, including asset tagging, deployment, and decommissioning.
- Configure and set up new workstations, printers, and mobile devices for incoming employees.
- Monitor system performance and security alerts to proactively prevent issues.
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to implement software patches and security updates.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and remote access tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus but not required for immediate hire.
