Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to internal employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain computer hardware and peripherals, including troubleshooting and performing minor repairs.
- Configure and support operating systems and essential business applications.
- Monitor network performance and security to ensure optimal uptime and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technology solutions and improve workflow efficiency.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the company's knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and software updates across the organization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role.
- Proficiency with Windows and Office 365 environments.
- Strong understanding of computer networks, IP addressing, and basic routing concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical knowledge is a plus.
