Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 50+ medical staff and support personnel
- Develop and implement strategic healthcare initiatives aligned with community needs
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and California healthcare regulations
- Manage departmental budget ($5M+) and optimize resource allocation
- Collaborate with local government agencies for public health programs
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction campaigns
- Mentor department heads and foster interdisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 8+ years progressive leadership experience in healthcare
- Active California Healthcare Administrator license
- Proven track record in budget management and operational efficiency
- Strong knowledge of Southern California healthcare landscape
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE) designation preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
