Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users via phone, email, and remote access.
- Support: Provide exceptional technical support and guidance to ensure client systems operate efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and system configurations.
- Communication: Translate complex technical jargon into clear, actionable instructions for non-technical staff.
- Deployment: Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Feedback: Identify recurring issues and work with the IT department to implement long-term solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or help desk role is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems; familiarity with networking concepts and hardware troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as required.
