Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will act as the bridge between operations and management, ensuring that supply chain goals are met efficiently and cost-effectively. We value proactive problem solvers who can thrive in a fast-paced New York environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred) and update shipment status.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and logistics bottlenecks immediately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and adjust inventory accordingly.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
