Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap, identifying emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and MVP development of AI/quantum/sustainability solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate market disruptions and competitive threats
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with startups, VCs, and research institutions
- Present innovation insights and progress to executive leadership and board members
- Foster a culture of experimentation through hackathons, innovation challenges, and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation management, R&D, or strategic technology roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with measurable market impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience guiding cross-functional teams
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology strategy (patents, articles, books)
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Blue Ocean Strategy)
